Adding Cohesion to an Open Floor Plan

The goal for this residential refresh of the first floor of a home in Phoenix, Maryland was to make the home’s open floor plan more cohesive. This concept was achieved first by adding all-new drapery treatments with various subtle tones of cream/grey/butter/slate.

These tones were carried throughout the space in various patterns and textures as new textiles, furnishings, paint, wallpaper, tile backsplash, art, tile flooring, carpet, cabinetry, and lighting were added.

Furnishings include sofa and chairs from Baker, swivel chairs from Century Furniture, cocktail, end tables and lamps from Arhaus, wallpaper from Phillip Jeffries, kitchen backsplash tile from Hunt Valley Tile & Marble, carpet from Vertical Connection, textiles from Pindler & Pindler, Kitchen Design by Jenifer Gately and Kip Jacobin, and Lucy Rose Design.
